Hello, my name is Dana.

This blog is my online portfolio, and I will share my work here. I am interested in graphic design and photography, but I am open to explore more aspects. I aspire to expand my knowledge, as I am still in post secondary.

In Grade 10 of high school, I discovered my interest in photography, so I would always take pictures and post them on my Flickr. It introduced me to the idea of editing photos and giving them a new meaning. To this day, I still love photography and I take pictures whenever I can.

In Grades 11 and 12, I have introduced myself to media courses, such as Communications Technology and Photography. These courses really helped shape my decision for the future career I want to pursue.

Currently I attend Seneca’s two year  “Interactive Media Design” program, also known as INM (Interactive New Media), and I am currently in my second and last year.

I am very experienced in Microsoft Office tools, such as Word, Publisher, Excel, and Powerpoint. I have used those programs since elementary school for projects and presentations.

I have extensive knowledge in Adobe software applications, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Bridge, and broad expertise in Dreamweaver and Animate. I also have experience with Avid Pro Tools and Media Composer.

Once graduating, I will be eligible to work as a digital media designer, interactive manager, digital media developer, animation, advertising or interactive media for corporate, scientific or educational purposes or interactive design for film, television and businesses.
